Today is Nona Tina's birthday - she would have been 60 today...and she would have ADORED her beautiful grandchildren.
Marylou has QUITE A BIT of her Nona Tina in her already. Her favorite thing to do right now is find the phone, push some buttons, and then put it up to her ear and say, "Hiyeeee!"
Oh how I wish she could have snuggled my BEAUTIFUL babies.

I know in these moments nothing can hold the wound together.
ReplyDeleteBut... husbands are good for big bear hugs and adorable children are good for making us laugh with their delight and wonder.
And oh how she wishes she could snuggle them too.
